    Good resources. To add a little… If anyone is reading this that has never tried wordpress, give it a shot. It is amazing what you can do without any programming knowledge. Knowing a little html helps, but it is not essential. I would suggest playing with the basic theme for a little bit, and then you can use the advice in these guides to go from there. WordPress is so versitile that your blog, does not have to look like a blog…it can look like a custom website. The big thing on wordpress is themes. There are literally thousands of them out there, from magazine style themes to adsense optimized themes. My personal favorite is heatmap. It is extremely versitile. You can find this theme on wordpress.org website under themes.
