In this Android era no one can over rule the point that Apple has lost its top position in Smart Devices segment. Samsung is restricting Apple on 2nd and 3rd position for Smartphone and Tablet market respectively. To complete its tally Apple now must aiming at release of much speculated and must awaited iPad 5 and iPad Mini 2. There are certain indication from Wall Street analysts and certain techies that apple is going to launch iPad 5 in March 2013.
Capital market firm Topeka Capital Market’s top analyst Brian White reportedly got a clue regarding launch of Apple’s next device while he was covering CES at Las Vegas.
Accoring to MacRumors a blog with Apple niche has quoted Brian, “Our checks at CES indicate Apple will release the iPad 5 and the second-generation iPad Mini this March. The iPad 5 is expected to be lighter and thinner than the iPad 4 that was released in October, while the form factor of the iPad mini should be similar to the first-generation iPad mini which also debuted in October”
Apple has lost a visionary leader in form of Steve Jobs. He had always kept the focus on visionary products. He was a master marketer and presenter. He has a classic sense of design and visuals. On the other hand the present CEO Tim Cook is an expert as far as supply chain segment is concerned. So, now the direction of the Apple is going to plan a series of product launch.
iPad 5 release date
The history of news reports also supports our claim. In last November DigiTimes also reported that the upcoming version of the iPad could be released in “Middle of 2013,” boosting “demand for ICs in particular communication-related chips during the latter half of the first quarter.”
There are several other blogs which has also broken the story in the same line even before the DigiTimes. “Macotakara” a Japanese blog has claimed that “Apple will launch its next iPad in March 2013.”
If we are aiming at history then we can carry out a traditional pattern of product launch by Apple. Apple had tradition of launching product at every year cycle. But after emergence of Tim Cook we have seen the earlier launch of iPad 4. So, why can’t we expect an early launch of iPad 5?
Along with its release date, the vary device has been in news stories for its much speculated Features and Specs. Macotakara has claimed that the device will have smaller dimension than its predecessors. If we believe the claim by the Macotakara then iPad 5 will be as thin as 7.2mm. It can be a similar dimension with present iPad mini.
A business analyst magazine was claiming that apple will keep up its new “a product every 6 moth” policy so that Microsoft, Google ad Samsung can not keep up to them. Surely someone has whispered in Tim Cook’s ears that “play on your strengths.” So let’s wait and watch what transpires in March 2013? Fingers crossed!!
